Family-Owned Chiropractic Care

Frankos Chiropractic is a family-owned chiropractic office in Smithfield, Utah, serving patients throughout Cache Valley.

We built this office with a simple goal: to help people feel better, move better, and understand what is going on with their body without making chiropractic care more complicated than it needs to be.

Most people do not come to a chiropractor because everything feels great.

They come in because something is starting to affect their life.

A lower back that keeps tightening up.
Neck pain that turns into headaches.
Sciatica that makes sitting or driving miserable.
Pain after a car accident.
Pregnancy discomfort.
Sports injuries.
A shoulder, hip, foot, or muscle problem that just will not calm down.
Or sometimes, they simply know their body feels better when they stay adjusted and moving well.

At Frankos Chiropractic, we try to meet people where they are.

Some patients need active care because they are in pain. Some need help recovering from an injury. Some want gentle care during pregnancy. Some parents bring in their kids. Others want affordable maintenance care so they can stay active and prevent small problems from becoming bigger ones.

No pressure. No scare tactics. No one-size-fits-all treatment plan.

Just practical chiropractic care from people who actually listen.

Meet Dr. Chad Frankos

Dr. Chad Frankos is the owner and chiropractor at Frankos Chiropractic in Smithfield, Utah.

Chad was born and raised in Soda Springs, Idaho, and growing up in a small town shaped a lot of who he is today. He learned early that people appreciate honesty, hard work, and being treated like a real person — not just another appointment on the schedule. That is the kind of experience he wants patients to have when they come into Frankos Chiropractic.

Chiropractic care was part of Chad’s life growing up. Between sports, injuries, and staying active, he saw firsthand how much better life feels when the body is moving the way it should. That experience eventually helped lead him toward a career where he could help people with the same kinds of problems he had dealt with himself.

Chad and his wife, Valeri, both studied kinesiology at the University of North Texas, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degrees before attending Parker University for their Doctor of Chiropractic programs. That background in movement, anatomy, biomechanics, and chiropractic care continues to shape the way Chad treats patients today.

Outside the office, Chad’s family is the biggest part of his life. He and Valeri have three boys, so he understands how busy life can get and how important it is to feel good enough to keep up with work, family, and everything else going on. That is one reason his approach to care is practical, straightforward, and focused on helping patients get back to the parts of life that matter most.

Chad also loves being outdoors. Hunting, fishing, hiking, and spending time in the mountains are a big part of who he is. He especially enjoys archery elk and deer hunting, spring turkey hunting, and bird hunting. Living near Cache Valley gives his family the kind of outdoor lifestyle they love, and it helps him relate to many of the patients he sees — people who want to stay active, work hard, play with their kids, hunt, hike, exercise, and enjoy life without being held back by pain.

Dr. Chad’s approach to chiropractic care is simple: listen first, figure out what is not moving or functioning well, explain it clearly, and treat the patient in front of him. Some people need help with back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, or auto accident injuries. Others are dealing with work-related pain, sports injuries, muscle tightness, or just want to stay moving well.

No pressure. No scare tactics. No cookie-cutter care.

Just practical chiropractic care focused on helping patients feel better, move better, and get back to living their life.

Meet Dr. Valeri Frankos

Dr. Valeri Frankos brings a gentle, thoughtful, whole-person approach to chiropractic care.

Valeri was born and raised in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Like Chad, she studied kinesiology at the University of North Texas, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree before attending Parker University for her Doctor of Chiropractic program.

At UNT, Valeri graduated near the top of her class before attending Parker University, where she earned a presidential scholarship. Her background in kinesiology, fitness, movement, and chiropractic gives her a strong foundation for helping patients understand how the body works and how to support it through different stages of life.

Valeri is passionate about fitness, chiropractic care, pregnancy, babies, kids, toddlers, and helping families feel supported.

She is Webster certified and enjoys working with expecting mothers who are dealing with low back pain, pelvic discomfort, hip tightness, SI joint pain, sciatica-like symptoms, and pregnancy-related tension.

Why We Opened Frankos Chiropractic in Cache Valley

When we opened Frankos Chiropractic, we wanted it to feel different from the kind of health care experience people often complain about.

We did not want patients to feel like a number.

We did not want people to feel pressured into care they did not understand.

We did not want to create an office where every patient gets the same adjustment, the same explanation, and the same plan.

We wanted a smaller, family-owned clinic where people could come in, talk honestly about what is bothering them, and get care that makes sense.

Smithfield felt like the right place for that.

Cache Valley is full of people who work hard and stay active. People here are lifting kids, working physical jobs, driving equipment, sitting at desks, playing sports, hiking, hunting, fishing, working on homes and yards, getting through pregnancies, recovering from injuries, and trying to keep up with everyday life.

That is real life.

And real life can be hard on the body.

Frankos Chiropractic was built for those people.

The people who want to move better.
The people who want to stop ignoring the pain.
The people who want help but do not want to be pressured.
The people who want a doctor to actually listen.

What Patients Can Expect

Your first visit is focused on understanding what is going on.

We want to know:

  • Where the pain is

  • When it started

  • What makes it worse

  • What helps

  • What your daily life and work look like

  • Whether the problem is new, chronic, or injury-related

  • What your goals are

  • What type of care you are comfortable with

From there, we perform an exam and explain what we find in normal language.

If chiropractic care is appropriate, we will talk through treatment options. If we think you need imaging, a referral, or a different type of provider, we will tell you that too.

The goal is not to make chiropractic mysterious.

The goal is to help you understand your body and take the next right step.

Chiropractic Care That Fits the Person

At Frankos Chiropractic, care is based on the patient in front of us.

For one person, that may mean a full spine adjustment and soft tissue work.

For another, it may mean gentle Activator care.

For an expecting mother, it may mean pregnancy-safe positioning and Webster Technique care.

For someone with chronic plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, shoulder tendon pain, or Achilles irritation, it may mean shockwave therapy.

For someone with low back pain, disc-related irritation, or sciatica-like symptoms, decompression or traction may be part of the plan.

For someone who feels better with regular care, a wellness membership may make the most sense.

We offer:

  • Chiropractic adjustments

  • Gentle chiropractic techniques

  • Activator technique

  • Soft tissue therapy

  • IASTM / scraping

  • Cupping therapy

  • Spinal decompression / traction

  • Shockwave therapy

  • Prenatal chiropractic care

  • Webster Technique

  • Pediatric chiropractic care

  • Auto accident care

  • Sports injury care

  • Wellness and maintenance care

The goal is not to throw every treatment at every patient.

The goal is to use the right tools for the right problem.

Conditions We Commonly Help

Patients commonly visit Frankos Chiropractic for:

  • Back pain

  • Neck pain

  • Headaches

  • Sciatica

  • Shoulder pain

  • Hip pain

  • Auto accident injuries

  • Whiplash

  • Sports injuries

  • Pregnancy-related back and pelvic pain

  • Posture-related tension

  • Plantar fasciitis

  • Tendon pain

  • Muscle tightness

  • Joint stiffness

  • Mobility problems

  • Work-related aches and pains

  • General wellness and maintenance care

If you are not sure exactly what is causing your pain, that is okay.

You do not need to diagnose yourself before coming in.

That is what the first visit is for.

Active Pain Care vs. Wellness Care

Not every patient is in the same stage of care.

Some patients come in because they are actively hurting. They may have back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, an injury, or pain that is interfering with work, sleep, exercise, or normal daily activity.

That is active care.

Active care is focused on calming symptoms down, improving movement, and helping the patient return to normal function.

Other patients are not in severe pain, but they know they feel better when they stay consistent with chiropractic care. They may use adjustments to maintain mobility, reduce recurring stiffness, and stay active.

That is wellness care.

We offer both.

If you are in active pain, we will not pretend a quick maintenance visit is enough.

If you are feeling good and just want affordable maintenance care, we will not make it more complicated than it needs to be.

Prenatal, Pediatric, and Family Chiropractic Care

One of the most important parts of Frankos Chiropractic is family care.

We see adults, athletes, workers, expecting mothers, babies, kids, and families who want chiropractic care that feels personal and approachable.

Prenatal care is modified for pregnancy and may help with low back pain, pelvic discomfort, hip tension, SI joint pain, and general pregnancy-related stiffness.

Pediatric care is gentle and based on the age, size, and needs of the child. Some parents bring kids in after falls, sports, posture changes, recurring tension, or simply because they want their child checked.

We understand that parents want explanations. They want care that feels safe. They want someone to slow down and talk through what is happening.

That is how we try to care for families.

Auto Accident and Injury Care

Auto accident injuries can be frustrating because symptoms do not always show up all at once.

Some people feel neck pain immediately. Others notice back pain, headaches, shoulder tightness, or muscle guarding over the next few days. Work, sleep, driving, lifting, and normal movement can become more difficult.

Frankos Chiropractic works with patients after auto accidents to document symptoms, evaluate movement and function, and provide conservative care when appropriate.

Care may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, traction, home recommendations, and coordination with other medical professionals when needed.

The goal is to help patients recover properly, document what is going on, and return to normal activity as safely as possible.
