You do not need to know which service you need before booking.
Most patients know what they feel, not which treatment tool they need. That is normal. The first job of the visit is to understand the pattern: where it hurts, how it started, what makes it worse, what helps, what your movement looks like, and whether chiropractic care is appropriate.
Book based on the problem, not the tool.
If you have back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica-like symptoms, shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis, sports soreness, pregnancy discomfort, or pain after an auto accident, you do not have to decide whether you need an adjustment, traction, soft tissue work, or shockwave therapy.
The exam helps choose the service.
What makes this page different?
This is not just a list of treatments. It is a guide to how care is chosen at Frankos Chiropractic.
- Active pain care is different from maintenance care.
- New injuries may need more evaluation than a quick visit.
- Shockwave, traction, cupping, scraping, and soft tissue are tools, not automatic add-ons.
- Referral, imaging, or co-management may be recommended when symptoms call for another provider.
How care is chosen
A good plan starts with better questions.
The service should fit the patient. A desk worker with headaches, a runner with plantar fascia pain, a pregnant mom with pelvic discomfort, and a golfer with low back pain may all need different care even if each person says, “I just need adjusted.”
History
How it started, how long it has been there, what makes it worse, what helps, and what you want to get back to.
Movement
Range of motion, joint restriction, muscle guarding, posture, loading, and repeated movement patterns.
Service match
Adjustments, soft tissue, traction, shockwave, cupping, scraping, exercise, home advice, or referral when appropriate.
Clear plan
You should understand what we are doing, why we are doing it, and what the next step is.

Care map
Find the service by what you are dealing with.
Patients usually search by symptom, injury, or goal. These shortcuts help connect common problems to the services that may be considered after an exam.

Back pain, neck pain, and headaches
Often starts with chiropractic evaluation, joint motion, muscle guarding, posture, and movement patterns.

Sciatica-like symptoms or disc-related patterns
May involve the low back, hips, glutes, nerve irritation patterns, movement testing, and selected unloading strategies.

Chronic tendon or soft tissue pain
Stubborn plantar fascia, tendon irritation, muscle restriction, and overuse patterns may require more than a quick adjustment.

Sports, hiking, golf, and active families
Care may focus on pain relief, mobility, soft tissue restriction, loading patterns, and returning to activity with a practical plan.

Pregnancy, kids, and family care
Gentle, age-appropriate care for pregnant patients, children, students, and families when chiropractic is a good fit.

Maintenance and wellness care
For patients who are no longer in active pain care and want routine maintenance visits at an affordable monthly price.
Clinic tools
More tools in one local office, without making every patient fit the same treatment.
Frankos Chiropractic uses a practical mix of hands-on care, table-assisted care, soft tissue work, and clinic equipment when it fits the case.
Examples of tools used in the office
- Chiropractic adjustments and extremity adjustments
- Elite Automatic Flexion Distraction drop table
- Fisher lumbar traction device
- Storz Medical Masterpuls One radial shockwave therapy
- Soft tissue therapy, IASTM, cupping, and assisted stretching
- EMS/TENS and other supportive therapies when appropriate
The tool is never the whole plan.
A treatment tool is only useful if it matches the condition, the patient, the stage of care, and the goal. That is why the office focuses on clear explanations instead of just stacking random therapies onto every visit.
Better care starts with knowing what you are trying to accomplish.

Choose the provider you prefer. Call if you are unsure.

Insurance, self-pay, and visit expectations
Know what kind of visit you are scheduling.
Not every visit type includes the same amount of time or the same services. If you are unsure what to book, call first so the office can help you avoid choosing the wrong appointment.

Frankos Chiropractic accepts most major insurance plans. Coverage varies by plan, deductible, copay, visit type, and medical necessity.
Self-pay
Simple self-pay options are available for patients without coverage or patients who prefer direct payment.
Wellness plans
Adult wellness memberships are $79/month and youth wellness memberships are $59/month for 4 maintenance visits per month.
Extra therapies
Shockwave therapy, decompression, soft tissue, cupping, scraping, and other therapies may require a different visit type or separate fee.
Auto accidents
Auto accident care may involve claim information, attorney communication, documentation, and different billing details.
Unsure what to choose?
Call before booking. It is better to choose the right appointment than to arrive for the wrong visit type, provider, or amount of time.
Services FAQ
Questions patients ask before booking.
These answers help patients understand the visit before scheduling. Your actual care plan depends on your history, exam findings, goals, and whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your case.
Do I need to know which service to book?
No. If you are unsure, book a chiropractic visit or call. The exam helps determine whether adjustment, soft tissue, traction, shockwave, cupping, scraping, or another option makes sense.
Do you offer more than adjustments?
Yes. The office offers chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, traction, flexion distraction, shockwave therapy, IASTM, cupping, pregnancy care, family care, sports care, auto accident care, and wellness visits.
Will I be adjusted on the first visit?
Often, care may begin the same day when appropriate. If your history or exam suggests a different step is needed first, that will be explained.
Is shockwave included in a normal adjustment?
No. Shockwave therapy is a separate focused service used for selected chronic tendon and soft tissue conditions when appropriate.
Are wellness memberships for pain?
No. Wellness memberships are for maintenance care, not active injury care, auto accident care, or new pain episodes.
